Anemone Diet

we get small sized frozen scallops from grocery stores. anemones love them and they are easy to defrost and feed.

Again with this, i think i it follows the same rule that is in every other aspect of this hobby...There is more then one way to skin a cat. People seem to have success with many different feeding methods and choices.

I've never seen bones from silvers, no need to remove IMO.
Now when a new naso swam into my nem, another story(much bigger fish).
But she spit those bones out no problem.
(Nothing worse than seeing one of your favorite and not cheap fish's bones spit out! But it's only happened twice in 5 yrs)

OUCH!

yep, $89 nem treats!
Worst part is I went out of my way to find the perfect little baby blond specimens.
One lasted one day.
The other I was watching more closely, on the second day I looked at, came to check e-mail, went back to look and gone, just like that.
I guess baby naso's aren't clued in to nems.

I get a 50 count of fresh squid at a local Chinese market. I cut it up into tiny pieces (removing the beak, etc.) and soak in Selcon before feeding. The squid cost about $5.00 and last a few months, also when chopped up all the fish eat it as well.

My LFS dont carry Selcon, however they do have Zoecon, and I was told its the same thing. Is this true? I went online, and the discription of Selcon seems to have more vitamins than the other.
