My green bulb tentacled anemone seems to prefer shade for some reason. It moves around every couple of days, but almost always ends up settling under a rock, where it barely receives any light. This morning I noticed it had moved again and was nice and visible out front. Then my lights turned on (actinic only at first) and the anemone retracted it's tentacles and moved under a rock within 20 minutes.
Here's my anemone:
And this is the lighting I use.
Interestingly, I noticed that before the lights came on this morning, its tentacles were all straight tipped, no bulbs in sight. Then when the lights came on and it moved, most of the tentacles turned to bulb tipped. I don't know whether bulbs or no bulbs has anything to do with their health.
