Anemone dying??

Ok awhile ago I got a bubble tip anemone but realized it was in bad shape when I got him home... He is very bleached and wasn't very sticky... He has been doing alright and then all of sudden I woke up this morning and he looks horrible! I'm curious if this is him dying so I can take him out of the tank cuz I know they realize a poison in the water... He even moved up the rock today and his mouth looks bad! Not sure... What do you guys think? Leave him alone or pull him out?

Here is a pic

I have the reef capable led lights there pretty strong in my tank. Everything is doing really well and the anemone was doing some what ok in my tank but he was not healthy when I got him.. I have a 20 gallon tank. I have him in a bucket right now he detached from the rock and fell to the sand and he was slimy and gross.. Idk if he is dead or stressed but I don't want it to kill my tank off either.

I have a several hammer corals and Duncan's plus I have had a condy anemone in here with these lights and they all do awesome! I think the problem was he never was healthy from day one...

its Marineland. I know the lights are not an issue. I just need to know if this thing is dead or not. I'm super frustrated with the anemone...

Have you successfully kept an anemone under those lights? That may not be enough PAR. Any local reefers or a club have a PAR meter you can borrow? I'd recommend checking the output of the light. Anemones thrive under 200+ PAR.

Also, what are your phosphates and nitrates?

BTA sometime look really bad when they split. Not saying that this is the case but it is a possibility

Yes Iv kept many anemones under these lights and all did very well! But they were also healthy when I bought them this one wasn't... He looks worse this morning! He is almost turning inside out it looks like and his mouth looks like someone tore it apart? Iv checked all my water qualities and they are all good nothing is high :/. I'm thinking he finally just decided to kick.. Lesson learned don't buy from Petco anymore!

I still have the Condy and my green bubble tip I had for a year and I gave to my dad in his nano cuz I got this one that was suppose to be red but was actually bleached when I got him... So Iv never had an issue with the lights... I decided just to keep it out of my tank it's in a bucket right now. It's a goner... Now my clowns are trying to host in my hammer ugh!
