Anemone Dying?

Heres a picture of my bubble tip anemone which was put in a few days ago. It was full and looked healthy. Now it looks like this and the body is inflated but not the tentacles. My tank is 6 months old and parameters are good. Alk is and Cal are a bit low at 7.8 dkh and 400 ppm but I don't think that's too much of an issue. Is this normal?

Anemone Dying?

It will need about a week or two to fully settle down in your tank. Just give it some time. Don't move it or feed it these weeks.

Noticed a picture of clownfish and anemone on the tank wall. Are you attempting the picture-learning method to make clownfish live in your anemone? I suggest no matter what method you use, do it after the anemone settles down.

Because you'll end up just stressing it out more and/or contaminating your water more. I never spot feed my anemones, been doing fine for years.

Because it just got into a new environment, it is trying to get used to it... It is highly possible that it would just spit it out later and it will pollute the tank.

besides, anemone does not need to eat (that much/often) if plenty of light is given.

Which picture? Also I don't have a phosphate tester but my nitrate is 20 ppm mg is 1400ppm

The clown is currently hosting the nem. (It wasn't me, just natural. I took down the picture an hour after I put it up.) Is the clown fish hosting it bad for it to acclimate?

Not 100%. But the best is to leave the anemone alone without anything bothering it. If your clownfish is gentle with the anemone, don't worry about it, it should be fine.

If you have plenty of room and want a big *** nem then feed it. If you want slower growth.... don't.
It has a mouth for a reason. Deflated bulb tips don't necessarily indicate a problem.

ANEMONE UPDATE
The anemone moved into the sand. Ik it's a rock dwelling anemone. What should I do? Also mouth is inflated and open. Any suggestions?

Can't tell much from the picture but it doesn't look like it's comfortable. something could be irritating it.

Things to check:
What size is your tank? flow? lighting? filtration/skimmer?
Any other tank mates other than the clownfish?
What are your other numbers? salinity?
What do you use to test your salinity?
What are your nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, and pH levels?
Do you dose anything into your tank?
What's your water changing schedule? What water do you use to change water?

If you keep these all in check, you should not worry much about it because these are what I pay attention to with my anemones.
