Anemone experts - need some help

Hello,

I have this "item" in my tank that I was initially told it was a sun coral, then a Dendrophyllia, now I'm told it might be a gorgonian wrap anemone.

Here is the link: Identification thread

Since you all are the experts, I'm hoping maybe you can help with the ID and if this is what they think it is, how I should take care of it.

Thank in advance!!!

Start with
Hormathiidae Nemanthus annamensis
Something along those lines. It is a gorgonian wrapping anemone.
from what i read i think they are a pest for gorgonians, as they use them to get food and don't benefit the gorgonian host at all. But in the home aquaria i don't think it will do much harm. It's a pretty little guy ntl and if you can get him to possibly move off the gorgonian i think it is probably an easy anemone to keep as long as it's fed with small foods often.

I would only be concerned with reproductive rates, and the health of the gorgonian.

If it is not reproducing like apstasia, or Mojano, then I would assume he is not too bad of a pest.
Other concerns would be is he feeding off of the gorgonian, or perhaps keeping the gorgonian from feeding?
Or will it get big enough to eat other things in my tank?

Good questions, anyone have any answers? It doesn't seem to grow much; it has eaten some mysis shrimp when it has gotten caught in its tenacles. The gorgonian it came on has changed color if you note the pics in the original thread. I don't know much about the gorgonians so I don't know if it harmed it or if the gorgonian has been harmed or if this is a normal part of its life cycle.

Anyone have any idea of how to contact any gorgonian experts??
