Hi there i have 2 bubble tip Anem. and they are hosted by my seabea clown im just wondering how would i go upon feeding them casue everytime i feed them the clown get back in there and the food eventually floats away and i need to catch my clown put him in a bucket while the Anem. eat. Is there a easier way to do this?

alot of times the clown wil bring the anemone food he catches. i feed mine silversides once every 7-9 days. i cut the head off and the guts out, and place it on a toothpick for feeding it. the toothpick is attached by a rubberband to a 24" acrylic rod, 1/4' diameter. you can find silversides at any fish store in the frozen foods section. i was loooking at your hobby experience: 3 months? you need an established tank of at least 9 months to a year for the anemone have a chance of survival. they are very picky about water parameters, flow, and light. you might wanna take it back and see if they will exchange it for store credit or something else. goto, "New to the Hobby" forum, at the top of the page it has an article on anemones. sorry, just be patient and research before adding any creature into your tank. www.liveaquaria.com has a compatibility chart you may wanna check-out? have a great night and REEF-ON!!!

I agree, your tank is a bit new for a nem.
I just throw in a silverside whole and the second a tentacle touches it pulls it right in.
Your nem may be stressed, loss of appetite.
