anemone for ocellaris?

i was going to purchase 2 or 3 ocellaris from liveaquaria and i wanted to know what anemone would go best with them?

Occelaris are native to heteractis magnifica and gigantea. They also seem to accept haddoni quite well. The first two are considered the hardest nems to keep.

In captivity occs are hit or miss with others like BTA and LTA.

i dont think you should get 3. get 2 because 3 can be a problem. one of my ocellaris is hosted by my GBTA. still waiting for the other one to take to it.

I 2nd the only two clowns comment as three will result in a fight as they mature.

I have never had a problem with them accepting BTA's or LTA's. I would try the BTA first only because I think it is an easier anemone to keep.

i 3rd the BTA. its easier to keep and more hardy. if you go with the GBTA, then it is also cheeper than the others.

I've had them in a BTA as I started out and for about 8-9 years I have a pair in a Magnificent. I wouldn't buy 3 clowns either, one is going to be the odd man out...
