Anemone Growing on Snail's Shell

I have recently found one of my turbo snails to have an anemone growing on it's back. It is either aipitasia or whatever the hell it's called or a Mojano. Can it spread if it is on the snail's back?...Thanks, I can't get a picture because the camera is really bad.

I'm basically asking if it can spread if it is on the snail.

I would remove it either way. it could indeed spread - Mojano seems to be able to split in a matter of hours, so if your snail rubs up against your rock long enough or dies it could easily spread. The good news is that it's pretty easy to get rid of it if it's on a snail..

Just pick up the snail and scrape it off. Try and make sure you get all of it, so it doesn't grow back.
