Anemone has rocks in its mouth. What should I do?

I did a water change tonight and somehow I got some crushed coral in the anemone's mouth. I picked a few out but when I touch him he folds up (he always does this when I feed him). Will he expel them himself or do I need to try to remove more by hand? I'm afraid if I keep trying to get them by hand I'll shove them down his throat and choke him. The clownfish seems to be trying to move them out.

leave em be. mt maroon actually gets sand all over my nem when she sweeps the sand with her tail.

I turkey baster it off sometimes. a turkey baster is a REALLY handy aquarium tool :)

I tried the TB but it seemed to just push them in more. I tried to put the TB inside the tenicle area to get under the rocks to blow them up but the nem folds up.

Don't worry, your anemone is quite capable of moving crushed coral back out of it's mouth (and some much larger things like snail shells as well).

FWIW,
Kevin

my female maroon is the perfect domestic "housewife". she is always making sure the house(my BTA) is always clean and free of debris.

are yours doing the same thing?
