Anemone helo

i recently bought a carpet anemone and i went away for the night and i came back and portions of it turned a whitish color anyone know what caused this, or is it bad?

A lot more information would be helpful

Tank size, and how long has it been set up.
Water params --- actual numbers, not "fine" "good" "perfect"
What type of lights
What type of carpet.
What is all in the tank.

With all that said, turning white is never a good sign, but seems very fast for bleaching. Have a feeling that something serious is wrong.
