Anemone help

So I have a large rock in my tank that was made out of concrete. It is covered in bubble algae so I want to get rid of it. Only problem is that I have a Anemone on it. I was just wondering what is the best way to get it to detach?

I'm guessing it's a BTA? If so - you can try aiming a powerhead at it - and that may irritate it enough to release. Other ideas are taking that rock out - and holding it over a bowl of water so that the rock and foot are out of the water but the anemone is in it - (so upside down) or rubbing an icecube on it's foot.

Or, just buy a few Emerald Crabs. They eat up the bubble algae.

I have some emeralds but it is beyond them

Right - an entire rock covered by bubble is for sure beyond some Emeralds!

Let us know if you are successful in removing the anemone!
