I fed the anemone some thawed mysis two days ago, and he's been closed up and hiding ever since, even with the lights on he hasn't come out. He's even more closed up than usual at night. I checked all my levels and everything seems fine ammonia is 0.25, but nitrate and nitrite are 0. KH is normal level. I'm thinking the shrimp has gone bad, and maybe made it sick. Anyone experienced this?

You shouldn't have any ammonia. I highly doubt you have 0 nitrates also. Can you give us a picture of your nem? What kit are you using to test your water parameters? I'd bring a sample to your lfs to have them test it for you as well to compare results. Also what lighting do you have?

He's hiding at the back of his preferred rock so, this is the best shot I could get of him. The clown fish are still hosting. It appears one side of him has drooped down and the other side is just in normal night time mode. The tentacles are a little darker green on the droopy side. Normally he is spread out above that rock in a 8-12 inch circumference. Salinity is a bit high 1.025, but its been that way a while. The temperature has risen a bit recently, its at 84-86. I think the feeding was the catalyst for this behavior. How long should mysis last in ice cube trays? I threw away the bag so I don't have the "good by" date.

Ok turns out my anemone WAS splitting. And he actually split into 3. It's kind of cool although one of the three is all white? I don't know if this means its the newest one and is waiting to gain zooanthea (sp?) or if it was stressed and lost the zooanthea?? Unfortunately it was turned towards the back of the tank so I wasn't able to monitor its development.
I assume I need to feed this one regularly since it can't photosynthesize? It seems from other posts that they can "regain" zooanthea, right?

Zooxanthellae is an algae that lives within the anemone. Very cool you got a 3 fer! :thumbsup:
I wouldn't worry about it too much, however if you see a colored tentacle floating around the tank, grab it with a tweezers and feed it to the all white one. Otherwise the color should come back in time with good lighting.
