Anemone ID please

Hey everyone I just got this one for free. Im not big into anemones so I really dont know what kind it is. If someone out there can help me out or point me in the right direction that would be great. Other than ID I would also like to know alittle more about it.

Its a condy, it will eat just about any sea food you offer it and they are known to eat tank mates at times. This ones color will darken up to a tan anemone with purple tips..white is not their natural color. Clarkiis, Maroons and Tomato clowns are known to use these anemones as a host. There is a risk allowing these anemone fishes to use a condy as a host. The condy might think of them as a meal some day.

I have had problems with corals in the past with that anemone it is pretty mean

this is the page i found. but looking at the condy anemone maybe it looks more like that.

no, kristen it is a condy..H. Crispa or sebaes have verrucae on the underside of the oral disc..this anemone has no sign of verrucae on it.

It was free so if it starts to cause problems I will give it to someone else. I have a pair of trues that have gone up to it and looked at it but that is as far as they have gone. But hey what can i expect from the first day of putting in my tank.

yeah, condy, they were everywhere in the Bahamas when i went on a cruise there, snorkeled 8 hours straight!! man if i lived there the tank i would have!!!
