They are all roses I think, because the color changes over time, sometimes even those flake patterns.

Thanks for the reply. It was hard to get a good pic of it, but I posted a couple more. So you're thinking just a variation of rose?

Don't get me wrong. I think it's cool to put names on them because sometimes their color or pattern looks unique but they change over time so the unique name, in my opinion, shouldn't actually stick around for too long (and each one of them can be quite different).
Yours looks like exactly the one I had before, Rose red with a sprinkle of white flakes. Yes, they are basically roses in their skeleton.

Maybe Sherman? I don't really know what make a Sherman except the red is more red than rose.

Do you think Sherman color can possibly fade?Don't get me wrong. Value is approx $200
I have orange one, easy to find, cost $100, but your colour is red and more vibrant.
Mine was called a Colarado Sunburst, I call it a nem.
Pay for colour, size and health, names mean nothing at all.
But I would name it Rose Red Double Bubble, and now it's $500.

I guess It also depends on where you are. The orange color in my area is rare to see. It can easily go up to couple of hundred. The red one in OPs picture is more commonly seen rbta here. It usually cost around 100, depends on size.
Definitely agree, in fact, up in the north here, mostly everything is brown.
Still, 100 bucks for a split ain't bad
Crazy names and jack the price. Just yesterday I seen a red carpet, never seen a red, not pink, blood red carpet.....$800......sold same week they go it in.

Personally, I think you should have sold it for what you paid for it (maybe you did). That is what you thought it was worth when you bought it. Why should it be worth more with a fancy name?
I actually thought it was worth more than what I paid for it originally and offered my friend more than what he asked. He also got first choice on the split at the same price before I put it up for sale to someone else (As I don't think making money on friends or family is good business). He declined the offer, and told me to put it on the market for $100, so that's what I did.

And also retailers that purchased several of my friends splits of the same nem are selling them for $250-300 which is crazy to me.

That part I actually get (although I don't know why anybody would pay that much). If it cost them $100, the normal mark up on livestock in the aquarium business is 2x - 3x their wholesale cost.
