Anemone in JBJ 12 OG/DE

Hello,

Ive been hearing that some people were successful with there JBJ 12 OG (1, 24 Watt PC) on having an anemone.

IF YOU have WITHOUT modifying you light. which anemone do you have and where is it placed in your tank.

(im trying to get the K-2 Viper 70 WATT HQI from my LFS but they dont sell and prob wont for a VERY long time)

I have a GBTA in my daughters 12g nano. It has 24 watt 50/50 lighting. The anemone opens up beautifully, has huge bubble tips and is growing well. It gets fed about once a week and shares the tank with some shrooms, zenia, zoas, purple firefish and a small clown. They are all doing well. I placed the anemone on the bottom of the tank and it moved on its own to about halfway up the rock and has been there for awhile and doesn't seem interested in moving. HTH

Hunter21; I see you are fom Springfield, Ohio. Is that the springfield near Akron?

Dave, Akron is about 3 hours from me...so it's not quite NEAR akron! lol I'm about 30 minutes from dayton! How often do you do water changes to keep up with the messiness from the anemone?
