Anemone name by description?

When I was at the NYC aquarium this past weekend they had one tank with some really neat anemone...I could have sworn I had seen the species name before but I can't seem to find it anywhere on any sites selling anemones. They said it was a colonial species and the largest ones in the display only seems to be about 4-6 inches tall...varies colors individually....looked more like a toadstool coral in that they were on a long foot (relatively speaking) and seems to be no more than 3-4" wide. I'd recognize the species name again if I saw it, but I can't seem to find a good online resource with a list of genus/species names....

Interesting...of all of those photos and threads not one had the same species of anemones that I am looking for....I knew I should have written down that name...I just figured I'd find when I got back online later.....they were pretty cool looking anemones.....
