Anemone nearly died, clown behavior

Something happened in my tank and my 2 year old anemone decided to move into an MP40W. Fortunately I caught it in time as there wasn't too much damage to it. I lowered the flow in my tank and covered the fans with a mesh material while the nem nurses back to health. The anemone made a new home under a rock and has not come out for light yet. The clown has not discovered that it is still in the tank. She will not eat or leave the area that the anemone was originally in. I don't want to move the anemone, but I want my clown to notice it and maybe snap out of her mourning. Any suggestions?

Is it a pair or an individual clown?
That is her home and it will take some time to get her to leave it. If it is a pair, you might look to see if there are eggs.

my suggestion is that if it was hangin with the Nem for a while just leave the clown alone. When it's ready to leave it's spot it will leave and look for it's host and when the Nem gets better it will come out sooner or later. and when it's out the clown will see it and go back to it to host it.
I've had my original marroon yellow stripe for 5 years and my original RBT for 5 years. The RBT was splitting every few months until it populated my 75g tank within 2 years. Total RBT's in my tank was about 35 my clown was so happy that it kept moving from one RBT to another. He owned the whole tank until last year when i decided i wanted to minimize the RBT and start sps in the tank. Now i have about 4 left in the tank all small and the clown is still hosting in one of them. The original mother i sold who grew to be about 8 inches in body size but with the tentacles and fully open i think it was about 11 inches. :fish1:

..=O Some of that beauty my way please?

If the nem was hurt by the powerhead at all, I think it's better that the clown dosn't notice it right away. Her irratating it might stress it out even more and eventually kill it, but that's just my .02.
I agree with everyone else, get her a hubby to occupy her. =P
