Anemone not eating

I am 13 and new to saltwater tanks... I have a bubble tip anemone and have not fed him in a week because I have not had any time because it takes him a while to get the food from the tongs I am holding it from... Now it is not eating at all and it is driving me crazy... What should I do?

Not worry about it all to much, if you have proper lighting it doesn't necessarily need fed. I've had mine for 3-4 weeks or so and haven't feed either one and both are growing and happy. Shouldnt really take much time to feed it, if the nem is sticky as it should be the food will stick to the tentacles and they close up and pull it toward the mouth.

Assuming it is healthy, and the aquarium lighting can properly support the zooxanthellae living within the animal, it should not need to be directly fed.

I have had over 20 in three different aquariums for quite a while now, and I never feed them...
