Anemone Problems

Hi,

I am still having issues and need help please. Added BTa after tank was running for about 5-6 months(maybe it was too early) it was doing great for a few weeks and even hosting a clown. Then one day it moved to under a rock. And stayed there. It is alive and attached but bleached and small. It didn't come out for over a month. I actually couldn't find it and was afraid it died. I just moved a few pieces of small rubble/rocks and found it underneath still alive and attached. It has gotten very little light in weeks. No feedings at all. What do I do? All other fish and coral (only have a few) seem fine. I'll add a pic of his current state. Any help is greatly appreciated... thanks so much!

What test kit did you use to test for nitrate? Maybe you're not using the test the right way and your nitrates are actually higher. Not that it might be the cause of your problem but it could be one of the reasons why it's stressed.

I googled your LED's and it seems that they're very strong. I saw some SPS pictures with PAR numbers. Maybe turn down the LED's. Go for 1% white 10% blue or something like this and just see what happens. If it's not the light then it might be something else why it hid. It def. bleached because it has been hiding for so long. You can try feeding it some krill. Hopefully, it will accept it.

EDIT:

I somehow missed that you said it was doing fine for a time and even hosting a clown. Did you change the intensity of the LED's since? If not, then it's not a lighting issue. Test your water carefully. Maybe alk/ca/mg is off. It could literally be anything. Did you change anything before it started hiding? Did you start/stop doing something or using different filtration media?
