Anemone question

Hello. I have a BTA and I need to move it. I placed it in a tank until I had the tank it is going in ready. Now that I am ready to move it I can not get it to move. It has settled into a hole in a rock that is like a cave. I have tried to massage its foot to see if it would come loose but it wont. I turned the rock its in thinking it would move out of the hole to come to the light but all it does it get huge to stretch to the light. Its foot never moves out of the hole. I need this BTA out of the tank it is in because it isnt the proper lighting and I dont want it to die. Any suggestions on how to make this BTA move out of the hole?

I think you would have a lot better chance on getting your BTA to stay where you put it in the new tank if you moved it rock and all. Is that a possibility?

The rock is to big. There isnt room in the other tank for the rock. I just put a power head in there blowing right on it hoping the bta wont like it and move.

Hm. If I need to move them and that is never my first choice whats so ever I try everything before moving them.


And If everything fails I use a Ice cube and rub it along the foot I have even been in a spot like you where I had to chip apart a rock.
