Anemone removal

I have too many anemones in the tank and would love to get rid of a couple. How do I get them to detach from their rock?

Change flow and make water around foot of anemone very cold with ice cube!

I use a power head aimed directly at them, it usually gets them to let go quick.

If you use the ice cube make some up with RODI

+1 on the ice cube. Worked like a champ for me, and yes to the RODI water. Just freeze up a couple RODI cubes for the job.

I've used a q-tip to get under the foot and popped it off the rock in less then a minute.
