What's the Best method for removing a carpet anemone from my tank glass? Tried credit card and it's not working so well.

It depends on the kind of carpet anemone, but generally the easiest way, but not necessarily fastest, is to make its life miserable in the location you want to remove it from:
Point a powerhead at it.
Blast it with light or deprive it of it.
Place a rock on top of it.
At some point it will start moving.
BTW, you should post this in the appropriate forum (Anemones and Clownfish) and not hidden away in a local club forum.
