i've now gone through a carpet and a sabea and my clown fish would host with neither. Any ideas on what to try next?? I looking for something that looks good and that my clowns would like?? appreciate the help guys.
the carpet anemone was about 6 months the sabea was only for a month but i secluded them together with it and forced them to swim in it but they wouldn't swim with it if they weren't basicly forced to when released in tank they once again had nothing to do with it
I agree with Ben, I don't think it's the type of anemone that's causing them to not accept it as a host, I think it's more of a lack of interest. Without any predators in the tank, clownfish really don't need an anemone for protection.
