Picked up a RBTA at the beginning of November and placed it near the bottom of my tank. It quickly affixed itself to a rock and was doing fine. I fed it bits of raw shrimp weekly.
About a month ago (early January) the anemone decided it wanted to start moving around the tank and it climbed higher and higher. It's now about 1/3 of the way down from the top of my tank and has affixed itself to a rock almost directly in front of my MP40 so it's being buffeted by the powerhead most of the day.
Attempts to manually move it have failed - it's foot is attached to the rock so it seems like it wants to be where it currently is. However it's definitely shrunk. Both in diameter and length of tentacles. It's still keeping relatively good color but it's darker now than it was.
Should I be worried about this? I know that anemones like a lot of light and flow but it's current placement seems excessive.
