Anemone splitting?

Why do some anemones split in two? I purchased a white bubble tip a few weeks ago, then it crawled around a rock for a day, and two smaller twins came out within just two days. Is this stress related or just normal asexual reproduction? They both seem healthy but my new clown might not be able to keep up.

If they are white, the odds are they split because of stress and/or a last attempt to save part of itself.

A white BTA, isn't healthy, it is bleached. Hopefully in time it will color up.

They both seem to be doing great now. They're also somewhat tan colored. The LFS said they are white, what color should they be?

It should be green, red, or brown, or something in between. It depends on the kind you have.
