Anemone Sting

I know anemones will kill sps, but will they kill acans as well? My 29 biocube consists mainly of acans and I was thinking of adding a rose or carpet to the tank. Since they move around, I didn't know if they would kill the acans or if the acans' sting would hurt the anemone. Any info is appreciated.

Dont add a carpet. It will get too big and, basically, take the whole tank over. Go BTA.

BTA's can get pretty big too. I saw one that was 13" across!

I'd keep it the way you have it, too ify with a BTA that will wander the tank or a haddoni that will take it over. Can you post a tank shot of the lords.

I agree with everyone about the size....

But, after I upgraded my lights my Haddoni moved a bit, and happened to come into contact with my Acan, the part of the Acan that was being touched is no longer with us.

Out of how many? Did they ever grow back, or is it still spreading?

I want to say around 10 total heads. As for them growing back, can't say yet, it happened about a week ago.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess I will go w/out an anemone. Kinda wanted to keep my perc out of the acan he is hosting in right now. He is killing it!!

Actually, I just remembered that my neighbor has a 24gallon Nano tank, and he has a BTA. It is not bleached, and it doesn't look any bigger than it did a year ago. Same setup of rocks too. How weird. And his nem liked it right in the "cove". Looked cool too. Go for the BTA!
