well, i got the offer to trade a big tang for a RBTA. would anyone else do this trade. Its a regal blue/hippo tang i got from a neighbor who's tank broke. i'd like to put him in my uncle's 180 but idk if its a decent deal. thanks in advance

Depends what you want. On the west coast blue hippo tangs are dime a dozen (for smaller ones) but larger ones can get expensive. Same can be said for RBTA's, however. Small ones are pretty cheap and easily found. Large ones, particularly really striking color morphs, can still command a high price.

Without photos, I would guess that a large hippo tang would be worth maybe $100 (retail). Same could be said for a large RBTA (in my opinion).
