anemone trouble

my two rbta's just shrivelled up and started emitting something looking similar to smoke. I know this is probably not good, and I think a potential reason may be that a loose shroom may have been shredded in a powerhead. Any thoughts or suggestions other than a water change? I am working on that. thanks

I believe their spawning. Try to run a search on here.

From what I remember reading, people did a water change and ran carbon (or extra carbon).

I have agreed with Charles99 on that, most likely sounds its spawning, just perform water change, run carbon, and make sure your protein skimmer runny well. It also wouldn't hurt to check the water quailty as well.
