How can you tell its sick?

This is it this morning, I just got it yesterday. Looked much worse at the LFS. Does it still look too sickly? I got it for 60$, thought I got a good deal XD

You got a great deal, but once again you need to follow the cipro treatment, that nem is sick.

He says he recommends using a hospital tank, would it be ok to treat the main tank with cipro? I have softies and 3 btas, Hammers, torch, Frogs

Can you flip up the skirt so we can see the underside? Do you see spots (verrucae)?
In the newest photo you posted, it looks more like a haddoni. If it is, you won't see spots on the column. Typically haddoni like a deep sand bed where they can bury their foot. However the smaller ones sometimes attach to rocks. It looks like yours is attached to the rocks.
The mouth appears more closed than in previous photos. My suggestion is to just keep an eye on it in the DT. If it deflates, it needs to be moved to a QT tank. Cipro cannot be dosed in the DT. The amount you need is based on water volume, so for larger tanks, it doesn't make sense. Furthermore, it can create havoc to the biological system by killing bacteria.

The length and shape of tentacles suggest it's a Haddoni. I've also seen a few unhappy gigs look just like that. As stated above, an underskirt picture will help to ID this nem correctly.

the underside has no markings and looks like a flat creamish slightly peachy color. I just don't want to have to pry it out if its not sick but you guys all seem fairly convinced hes not that happy. I will say where he moved there are two mushcrooms that he keeps stinging and maybe they are stinging back I don't know. Again ive only had it for 24 Hrs now.

Based on your description, I think it's a haddoni. I think it'll be fine. Just let it acclimate for a few days -- it just needs some time to settle in and may move around until it finds a place it likes.

No, let it settle in first. I would wait a few days. As a general rule, anemones don't have to be directly fed, ever. But you can if you like. Just expect it to grow... a lot!

Ok ill wait on feeding, I sensed a bit of relief from you when it was more likely a Haddoni. Are they less susceptible to the bacterial infections commonly found in the S. Gigantea and thus easier to care for?

Yes.
But once acclimated, I think both haddoni and gigantea have the same care requirements.

I don't think this nem needs treatment. Looks like an acclimating Haddoni to me. Should pull through fine in its own.
