Anemone ?

Just last night my Pacific long tentacle anemone ate my sea hare. I hadn't noticed until the sea hare was already half way in the mouth.

anyway just recently my anemone spat out a chunk of sea hare. It is now shriveled up and not looking to hot.

Are sea hares poisonous?

They can be, there are literally hundreds of species of sea slugs, some of which will release a toxin when distressed or dieing. I would get it out of there, do a water change and run some carbon. If possible also skim wet for a while...just to be on the safe side.

Yes, remove the chunks.

I've done everything but the water change so far. The anemone appears normal already. I plan on the water change in a little bit.
