anemone

If you are lucky and can convince a clown to host a rock anenome (saw at my lfs), they stall relatively small, hardly move, and will stay on the sand next to the bottom side of a rock. They are very hardy and pretty easy to keep too - difficult part would be getting a clown to host it, but I have seen it done recently...

Ummmm.....I have never seen a clown go to a Epicystis crucifer(rock anemone)before and if they do it is a VERY VERY rare event.

I've seen clowns hosting tons of non-anemones, maybe that's the route you want to go? Frog-spawns, torches, hammers, you name it and there's a clown that will try to host it.

I'll see if I can take a pic at the lfs of the clown/rock anenome. I'll admit I was in shock to see a maroon (or any clown for that matter) hosting it, but apparently it definitely is possible.

However, they will host several softies and lps as mentioned earlier, and your odds for successs are much, much better. Our false perc (tank bred) in our 20 long hosts the fuzzy shrooms and seems quite content in them, and absolutely buries himself in the palys were you cannot see him anymore.

...and I used to have a small tomato clown host a pink-tipped haitian reef anenome which is also very rare, but again possible. However, it moved around quite a bit in the tank which is not what you are looking for.

Im not saying its impossible as I do have a tomato in a Hiatian Reef Anemone. But it just dosent happen every day.
