HI Guys
I'm am brand new to the hobby, 6 months or so, and still have a lot to learn. Maybe an understatement but anyway... I
have just discovered something in my tank that I cannot get a positive ID on. I have placed a photo on here with the hope of a positive ID. I really hope this is the right forum to place this pic on.
I have been told that it is a tentacle anemone. This information was taken to Google (obviously :hmm5
but maybe just too green to recognize it.
The animal appeared in a purple bed star polyp rock that I bought. At first it looked just like the polyps, just a bit fatter and I thought nothing of it. I went on holiday for two weeks and when I returned it was there in all its glory, and moving around! It moves around rather fast in my opinion and can do about 100mm in 20 minutes or so. I have not been able to see a foot and it doesn't seem to harm or bother the polyps at all.
Hope you guys can help.
Thanks Sanna
