Anemone

They don't like to be crawled on.
Is that an LTA, A BTA, or a carpet?
I can't tell, looks shrunk, deflated?

No hes not. And that marine land. Reef light you have is not even close to enough light. That tank os 3 feet deepnor more. Almost zero lighting is reaching that poor animal. Give it to a fellow reefer untill the tank matures and you can get appropriate lighting for that poor thing. Fish only with it is okay but you haven't even had your algae phase yet and that tanl is too new for that type of Invert.

Hi....Yea I agree....sorry dude about your nem...but I waited until my tank was a year old before I got my first nem....age of your tank...water quality...and good lighting are a must to successfully keep a nem happy and healthy.

If it were me I would consider taking the nem back to your LFS....maybe they can save it. Then when your tank has matured and you upgrade your lighting...give it a try again....and maybe start with a easier nem like a bubble tip....

The Anemone is fine now... fed him a silver half of a silverside and he is perfect now

My anemone was deflated after the acclimatization for a few hours, the next day it was looking better, was inflated and attach to one rock, i feed it with shrimp and the anemone ate it. But today it was deflated again, it have only 3 days on the tank, so it is normal?

So I am lost on this one....
There's nothing in the pic of this carpet that indicates that he is sick or dying.
What is in the pic is that he was fed, shrunk cause he's digesting, and the crab is waiting for his share.
Once he's finished, he will expand, shrink to poop, and open back up again.
All nens follow the same regiment.....

You are correct......It's fine.....looks like a nice green carpet to me!
Just doin what nens do.....that's why they are interesting...
