anemone

i have a 55 gal. reef and yes i have read the links at the top.

i really just wanted some "real" advice on what looks the best and will survive well in my aquarium.
i have had 2 anemones before so i am "fairly experienced".
*i don't like how the candy tip look.(same anemone i had before)
i was planning on getting a clarks clownfish but if you know of a clown fish that might be a better adapter to my tank.
i have had my tank running for half a year(it took a while to cycle)
right now all i have is a cleaner shrimp and some snails in my tank.

The good thing about clarki clowns is that in aquariums and in nature, they accept all known clownfish host anemones. The bad thing is "sometimes" they can be a little aggressive and they can grow a little large.

As far as anemones, you can't go wrong with a BTA. They come in several different colors and are the least demanding of the host anemones.

You didn't mention your lighting. Letting us in on that will help us give you more possible choices.

i have four 65 watt 50/50 lights.(possibly 60 watt)

If your tank isn't more than 18" tall, you are looking at either a BTA or a haddoni carpet with that type/amount of lighting.

If it is over 18" tall then that limits you to a BTA.

H. magnifica would require metal halide, maybe t5's with individual reflectors. Placement is real important with mags. If you get one make sure to place it up high in the tank, on a rock away from the sides of the tank so it doesn't try to climb up the walls.
