Clown Hoarder
Well, I have searched far and wide and cannot find a 'Anemonefish & Anemone' poster that suits my fancy. I was searching for one that mimics one at a LFS. Unfortunately, that poster is out of print and I haven't found anything since. Walt (WDLV) suggested that one be created, so after much consideration I've decided this may be the best approach.
My thinking is to gain everyone's thoughts in the Anemones & Clown forum first, as I truly will count on you the reader to submit photos with all images having acknowledgement given to their owner with some form of watermark at the bottom of each photo. This is where I'm a little concerned, as some may perceive this as a monetary gain on my part. I have no desire to push this to a commercial level and I'm only pursuing this for a sweat poster when it's complete. I mention the legal concern only due to the fact that if I would have a small batch of posters printed and sold these at cost plus S&H I'm sure someone could make an ordeal out of this. I would expect that if the image is chosen for a position on the poster, you would get a free sample of the poster for your hassle.
So, what does everyone think? I'm really just fishing for the thoughts of the members in this forum. If I get enough interest, I'll ask that you PM with a location of the sample image you have. After X weeks/months of submissions, I can list what images have made the list. From that point, it would be complete as soon as I could compile the pictures and play with it in photoshop.
Last, but not least, I hope that this is not perceived as an attempt to post a commercial product. This is purely a hobbyist that views a void and filling it with a non-profit attempt at providing a 'product' with community support through image submission.
Mods - If you see this post as a violation of the RC agreement wrt commercial posting, please let me know. I do not see this activity in violation, but may have missed the definition in the user agreement.
