are there any anemones that can be kept under 520watts pc lights ?
10000k wh 420 to 460nm antinic's in a 125g tank
thanks

You have 8x65 watt pc bulbs. The problem you are going to have is your tank is too deep for the lights to adequately penetrate to the bottom so if your anemone attaches low in the tank you are going to have a problem. If the anemone (I would recommend a bubble anemone if you want to try it) were to attach within a foot from your lights I would say you would be good to go.

I've got RBTA's in a 24" deep tank under same lighting. They have moved to the bottom, growing rapidly. Started with one, it split into 2, those 2 are ready to split again.
HOWEVER, I must say I got the first one from second or 3rd generation CAPTIVE BRED.

It should work with a BTA and possibly with a Haddoni. I would go for the BTA though as they are much easier to keep.

you are correct i have 8 65watt power compacks. my tank is 20in deep from top to bottom of sand. and the lights are 2'' higher. so that would be 22'' i guess.? i have about 170 pounds of live rock in the tank. i could probley add another 130watts of pc lights. vividaquaiums says long tentical anemones require moderate lighting heres a link

just trying to see if people have had any luck with the pc lights and the set like i have
thanks again

I'd also say you should be fine with H.Crispa under these lighting conditions too.

Yeah, at 20 inches I would say you are fine for a bubble tip. I was thinking your tank was two feet or more deep. The reason I would recommend a Bubble anemone is because they are the easiest to maintain. IME they are pretty easy actually. I have never had good luck keeping long tentacles alive in my 55 gallon (lit with 4x65 watt compacts) when it was set up. Perhaps I was getting bunk specimens to begin with but they are supposedly the next anemone to try after the bubble anemone.
