Anemones and Koralias

Actually there are lots of stories of nems getting chewed by powerheads, and korallias are no exception. Maybe even the worse powerhead for nems because it is so hard to cover them.

I have lost 3 RBTA's to my korallia powerheads. The first one was easy to tell, 1/2 of it was sticking out of the front. The last two I thought were just hiding until I took the ph out for cleaning. After removing the front piece I found them :(

That being said, if you have a happy BTA they should not move & it will not be an issue.

K4 lost power, no replacement for a week. The day I got it and hooked it up, that night my RBTA took a walk. Found another K4.
Fine to this day, but it was large and had to "recover"(ie lost alot of apppendages).
My Gig hit a K4 2 days ago..
Put it this way, you dont want to see pics.
So yeah, its very possible. And I've owned "non moving/hosting" Nems for quite some time.

OK, thanks for the responses. Now, who has a good way of covering their Koralia? I was thinking of some sort of screen instead of a sponge type material. Any good ideas out there?

I have a LTA that opens up daily right next to my Koralia 3. The edge of the disk hits the fins and has not done any visible damage for the past 6 months that is has been in that spot. So I haven't used anything to mod the edges.

i got a nano koralia and 3 nems that were doing very good in my tank but just one night when they all decided not to stick to the rock work and started wondering around and then the bad happens. all 3 got cought in koralia then water turned white.
