i have had a rbta triple in size (now size of small basketball) under DIY dimmable cree LEDs. had them for over a year, no bleaching issues

I've been running my LED's for about 6 months now with my RBTA's. I am running a home made fixture from modularled.ca. My RBTA's started to bubble again almost immediately and have continued to do so even though they never had before. They are growing and the LED's make their color pop so much better than my old Coralife 2x150W, 2x96W PC's. Switching to a homemade fixture from modularled.ca is probably the best change I have ever done with my tank.

excellent input everyone, thank you! shaun, very encouraging information! i will have 2 sols over my 60 cube, and plan on hanging it tonight. they will be replacing a single 400w radium and 2 x 24w T5 supplements. I too am looking forward to less heat, more control and much lower electrical costs....

glad to know my magnificas will be just fine, and am looking forward to some color improvements!

My RBTA looks like the rare flame roses under my LED. its pretty cool!
