Anemones and neon gobies?

Any experience out there on combining BT anemones and neon gobies? My concern is if the gobies would be lunch for the BTA. While you are at it, any thoughts on how well neon gobies get along with the Common (Ocellaris) Clown?

I finally have enough light to support a BTA, so am thinking of adding a pair of clowns and BTA. I don't have the gobies yet either, but would like to add them to the mix.

(Tank 90 gal with 50 gal sump. Other fish--six line wrasse, purple tang, hippo/Pacific Blue tang, coral beauty)

Thanks for sharing your experience!

the goby will try not to get eaten but there are no promises as well as with any of the fish if they are small enough

actually i heard wrasses eat neon gobies

Thanks. Some wrasses may eat neon gobies, but I can't imagine a six line would. It isn't all that much bigger than the gobies are.

I will think about it some more before I decide to try the gobies with a BTA. Anyone with BTA neon goby experience, I would be very interested to hear.

Thanks again.

I have a neon goby about 1 month, it usually stays away from GBTA. My two pecula pay no attention to it, it tried to clean pecula several times, but pecula always ran away.

I have had my 2 Neon Gobies with my BTA and S. haddoni for about 4 months now. The nems are on the left side of the tank and the Neons never leave the right side. All my fish, including other gobies in the tank, allow the Neons to clean them. I have a pair of very aggressive saddleback clowns and even they enjoy their company. I think they would be fine.

I have two neon gobies in my tank with a pair of WC Onyx clowns. The clowns are hosting a BTA and the neon gobies stay away. They've all been there several months with no trouble.
