Anemones losing color

My gbtas have lost most of their color. They are under 2 150 watt 14k hqi,in a 20L .The lights are approx 12'' above the water and the anemones are close to the bottom/ midway up.I also do 20% water changes weekly, run carbon and skimmer.They were really green when I got them in July of 07.They are fed twice a week, and each one has split.Just worried about the color fading. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

How old are the bulbs?

The lights are a sunpod, and they were bought new in 9/07.

What do you feed them?
How deep are they in the tank?
Have you tried running it without the carbon?
Were you using 14k bulbs before or were they a different brand?
Have you changed the temp (my RBTA changes with temp)?
In September were they still the same color as they were when you got them?
Some say splitting is a sign of stress (don't know how true that is, I haven't had mine long enough to split, besides, I don't know if that's as simple as it sounds).
Is there any other supplemental lighting such as actenics?
Do you add suppliments?
Not sure if any of this helps, just random thoughts.

I feed them silversides and krill twice a week,they are more toward the bottom of the tank. I have always run carbon,I ran pc lighting first, 130 watt, 65 watt 10k 65 watt actenics.The temp hasn't changed I run it at 78 to 80.The color was the same for about 7 months before I notice the color lighting up.I do not run actenics, I heard they are only to make your corals or anemones color look more intense.I don't add additives to my tank.
