I have a 75 gallon aquarium with a good sump macroalgae live rock protein skimmer and gfo/carbon reactor. I have a 2 high out put t5s and one 250 metal halide until I can afford another. I have a blue hippo tang, a yellow tang, a cleaner wrasse, a diamond goby, and a pair of clowns. I have a cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp a long spines urchin and brittle sea star. Anemone wise I have a green purple tip BTA and a maxi mini carpet anemone. How many anemones can i put into a single tank? I want to get a large carpet anemone to host my clowns but am not sure if I will be successful with all three. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I just came across your thread by accident. You should probably ask this kind of question in the anemones and clownfish forum for a better response.

Should be fine. I dont see why not. The toughest part of carpet anemones is finding a healthy one. Also they need a lot of light so put it under your halide. They are known to eat fish some times and have a very potent sting. They are a little more demanding and more difficult to care for so do your research before spending $150.00.

i have a bright red maxi in my nano, i would think that you would be about set with your number of nems i wouldnt add any more. also your tank is a little small for two tangs just a little suggestions there. also in case you were not aware maxi carpets are not similar to the clown hosting carpets, they cant host clowns and they are hardier. mine split like crazy ive had him for 4 years ad ive sold at least 20 other nems off of the original
