Different types have different requirements, and vary on how hardy they are. Definitely want a mature tank (6+ months). Ammonia and nitrates ideally zero. Anemones walk around so want to cover up powerheads. Different people feed (or don't feed), so really depends on type of anemone. Are you considering a certain type?

Mature tank with cycled rock/substrate.
Water parameters in line and under control.
Good water flow
Good lighting
There are so many other items too. Not your normal Fish Only type setup creature.
It is normal to have these creatures live for 10+ years. So it is a long term inhabitant.
What are you thinking? Can you narrow your request down some?
