anenome - does he look healthy? pics included

Hi all,

Nem seems to be doing well, eating as much as i am willing to feed and is really sticky taking any chopped mussel or some chopped prawn which he loves!

i was reading an article by Greg Peterson which got me thinking whether my nem is actually healthy and happy... his base is a paleish pink and he semi hides under a rock, but mouth looks good and there is no visible damage. Nem has doubled in size in the past 3 months.

I have enclosed a couple of pics if this helps.

both clownfish love the nem and i thought it was really healthy but wanted to get others opinions as to colour and whether this is technically bleached?

also if someone can help identify, was told by lfs this is a BTA, but have heard others say its a Crispa or Seabae. Nem doesnt move around, has stayed in that space for a good while so far.

any help would be greatly appreciated and if it does look unhealthy i can update with parem's.

thanks!!

i have 200w half white half blue Led's, decent brand in australia, but not globally known.

perhaps getting too much direct light?

I bought one that looked like that. It crawled under a rock ledge and stayed there for at least a month. When it finally came out it stayed closed up/retracted for a few months. It stated opening up and after another two months is starting to grow nicely and really expand. I thought for sure it wasn't going to make it for months.

just wondering what might be the best way of bringing the lil guy back? feeding mysis shrimp and prawns at the moment...

does anyone have experience of bringing a nem back once it is bleached?

thanks!
Sam
