Our Nem has moved recently and is now sitting on our leather toadstool

- I assume there isn't much that can be done other than hope he moves? does anyone have any experience with this? is it likely it will kill the toadstool due to the sting?

I read somewhere (was back in 2007) about using an airstone next to its foot and it should detach over the course of 10-20 minutes? does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

if there are any suggestions which could help it would be great to hear...

thanks!

That's quite amusing, looks like it is hugging it :)

For how long has it been attached on the toadstool? My guess is that once it feels the chemical signature of the toadstool it will move away by itself. If not, you can try to pry it off carefully using a plastic spoon. It shouldn't be too difficult as the surface texture of the toadstool should prevent it from adhering strongly.

clorox, i know I laughed when I saw it! Its only been there a day - just dont want to hurt either of them and worried it is already hurting the toad! thanks will try and let you know how i go!

thanks,
Sam
