I don't know if this is the right forum or not but maybe someone will have a suggestion. I have a BTA that is attached down in a hole in some live rock. I am changing tanks and do not want the rock that he is attached to. What is the best way to coach him out of the hole?????

You could try turning the rock on its side so the anemone isn't getting much light, that is about the best way to try and get it to move. BTA's need light to survive and will usually move to an area of better light if they don't get it.

If worst comes to worst most bta's can survive their foot being torn, but this is a desperado option of removal.
