Angel fish and anemone

Hope you aren't planning on putting the angel in your 70 gallon tank.

Any angel has the potential to go after an anemone, though "large" angels have a better chance of doing it. Though I have personally watched a lemonpeel and bi-color go after an S. haddoni, along with a blue face angel. All 3 times the anemone was hosting a pair of clowns.

Probably depends on the species of anemone, I keep an LTA and have kept several species of angels with it including a blueline without incident. An anemone is never going to be an angels preferred choice of food but there are no guarantees.

IME BTA's seem to be one of the "tastier" anemones to butterflies and angels.

There's a lot of variables to this complicated anwser..........the type of nem, the species of angel, & the clowns that are living in the nem, the size of the tank, & the livestock level.

I would try to get more specific at what you want to do.
