Depends on the particular fish... I currently have pair of Belus, Gold Flake,Red Sea Regal, Trio of Venustus, Pair of Multi-Bar, Spawning Flamebacks, Pair of Golden, Flame and Multicolor all in the same tank and my corals and clams are all intact and happy.
My majestic killed an elegance coral, several types of mushrooms and a bunch of kenia trees... And liked to nip at the leathers keeping their polyps closed.
I don't have any experience in this, I wanted to just follow along. I read that alot of reefers that had angels that eat their corals were mostly LPS or Softies. I heard alot they have better success with SPS dominant tank.
Genicanthus like lamarks or bellus. My lamarks ate my meteor shower cyphastrea despite being fed twice daily, but that's not normal. They are planktivores like anthias.
This, all genicanthus should be reef safe- love the Watanabe, very robust fish. And personally I think female Swallowtail and bellus are both prettier than the male.
