Angelfish help

I'm hooked
Hey, so here we go again. i dont think i will ever add another fish to my tank at this rate. i just can't manage to get sick pass my QT

hopefully this is not bad.

fish are from a different LFS. he runs low levels of copper but his system is clean and flushed after every batch. (confirmed)

received all 3 on october 12th.
1 week of observation (eating and acting well)
12 day TT (did prazy on the last transfer)
after TT they went into another QT

i noticed a little black hole on the side of the hippo (tiny hole) and they all started getting stringy poop

so i started Prazi dosed at 150%

after 24h i notices this white lump on the side of one of my angels, does not look like ich, and actually looks like a little white string on his side.... could this be flukes dying? stringy poop disappeared after 48hours of prazi

whats your take?

I see what your talking about, what concerns me though is the fact that the LFS runs low levels of copper which will only mask ich for up to 30 days... Time farm seems to match but it sort of looks like the start of lympho and from the pyramids you have/had you know exactly what I'm talking about

yes the pyramids... not going to lie, i am getting heart palpitations at this point seeing this....

new tank, different system.... different lfs....

Stringy poop = prazipro as far as the white spot goes I'm not sure I can be any help without more pictures

Thanks dmorty, i am on my fifth day on prazipro, i redose everyday after a 50%wc. should i stop for one week and do another 130% dose next week?

as far as the spot goes it is only that little spot, my hippo had a little black needle sized hole that has healed and no other spots are present, you almost see it better in the pics i originally posted, it really is exactly that in person

if it will help i can take more pictures?

If the spot remains after a week, it's not ich. It might be lymphocystis, as it doesn't really look like ich.

ok now i really need some help, the spot is still there and it does not look like ich, it can be lympho

however the angel with the spot has a cloudy eye on that side, tank still has prazipro and nfg

cloudy started today... everyone else is still 100% fine

could this be velvet? no other signs.... my hippo is A+! the other angel is amazing, and its only one eye thats cloudy not both...

i dont think it's velvet. but then again, i am no expert...

I've understood cloudy eyes & lymph reflect poor water conditions. How about a big water change & some vitamins in their food like Selcon? I'm battling some lymph on my bellus right now and it's clearing up.

my system does a 10% wc automatically at 10am and 10pm

i also do a manual 50%wc at 5pm. water comes from my DT, so ph and temp is a match

all foods are soaked in selcon. they get green mysis once a day and type 2 green flakes once a day

I would do a series of freshwater dips top see what comes off the eye or side in case it's flukes or something. Can at least do one and see if anything falls off. Or if eye clears. I know you not fan but formalin 30 min bath also to shloff off anything.

i want to do a FW dip but i do not have my freshwater ph test kit, can i just use my rodi water and match the temp?

ok i found a ph kit, ph was ok
matched the temp and did a 3 min bath.

nothing really fell off, a little poo i think, but i do not know what i am looking for exactly

You matched ph and temp right? I would just check fish tomorrow and see iif any better or not. I would have tried for 5 mins but no harm done.
