i have heard no. but if thats your tank it looks like its a little late to ask questions and now its time cross ur fingers

I would make sure to use an acclimation box -- and leave the coral beauty in there for a week -- to see how things are going.

How long has you had the Singapore angel? Is it actively eating?

I currently have a Coral Beauty, Multicolored and Venustus together.

I currently have a trio of flame *(Oct '07 bet 1.75-2.25"), pair of lemonpeel (Dec '08 2.5" & Aug '10 2.5" ) with a pair of meredithi (May '08 3" & Oct '08 3") and pair of blueline (Mar '09 4.75" & Sep '09 3.5") without any problem. Tank is 180g with approx 250lb of rocks. Provide them with enough rocks where they feel safe and you should be fine.

Todd has a very good point on the use of acclimation box. Three days ago I released a 2.75" personifer after 9 days in a acclimation box and she's without a scratch so far.

I've had the singapore for about a week and I've seen it eating algea off rocks and mysis shrimp. I also have a huge amount of shore shrimp that produce constantly as a added food source, plus about a dozen peppermint shrimp that produce regularly.

The reason I got the singapore is that i was under the impression that you could mix dwarf angels as long as they are not similairly colored. So far no problems. My set up is also alittle goofy. I have half the rocks on one side and the other half on the other, so theres a good amount of clear swimming space in the center. I have also read that the singapore is a finicky eater, so any suggestions as to what else I can do would be a great help. Would the eggcrating a corner work just as well as a acclimation box?

I would give the Singapore at least a month before thinking about introducing a Coral Beauty -- to make sure that it is fully settled in and eating prepared foods. I have one that lasted for 3 weeks, never ate prepared foods.

My Coral Beauty is the ruler of the tank, and glad that my Venustus was in there first and established, since they are difficult to find and get to eating.

The singapore angel can grow to 6-7" so it will get big. If you see it's picking at rocks and eating mysis then don't worry. Vary the diet and in a few weeks it will most likely be eating other prepared food. On the dry food side I've had good luck with bluezooaquatics Flake & Pellet Mix on finicky eating angels.

So the coral beauty is the one I should keep an eye on as the aggressor? So I'll put the eggcrate in to split the tank in half and give it a month. I'll keep updating as far as how the singapore makes out.

Never put a divider in there and still good. Singapore eats great. Mysis shrimp, Flakes, and picking at rocks. Went and added a arrowhead crab and no problems with it and the fish either.

I have a Singapore angel in with a Flame angel and they don't even look at each but every fish has a different attitude but generally I would say yes.

why would you ask, after you have already done so??????

I have another tank I could have put either the singapore or coral beauty in if there was a problem. Like I said before"I was under the impression that you could mix angels as long as there coloring was not real similar".

If singapore is already adapted , eating pellets and flakes... no problem will arise with coral beauty...but if not ...well coral beauty will be the least problem to care about it...

Well Its day 39 and all is well. I haven't seen them fight, but there always on the same side of the tank together(maybe because there the only 2 fish that are out and about). Still eating mysis, spirlina flake, omega flake, and maybe seaweed. Anyone know if the singapore is a fast grower or not?
