IMO chances are you'll be ok, if you have zoas then they will probably be eaten, but I think you should be fine for SPS. But if it does pick, it is probably just eating the slime coating of the coral and not the actual coral, so don't freak out unless you see it actually ripping out the polyps.

I can say with 100% certainty that no one knows. I personally have two in my SPS only tank and they are fine. But each angelfish is different, with very different personalities and tastes.
 
Agreed. But a lot of people do do it, here. And frankly, a Regal needs a Reef set up to really do well. It depends on what you are willing to risk. For myself, the Regal is a long-term goal, a living Masterpiece & I'd be more than happy to risk some corals.
Size of tank, size of fish, number of coral colonies will also be in play if you do go for it..
